Mae geri – front kick
Mawashi geri – roundhouse kick
Yoko geri – side kick
Ushiro geri – back kick
Kakato geri – axe kick
Mikazuki geri – crecent kick
Ushiro mawashi geri – reversed roundhouse kick
Ura mawashi geri – hook kick
hittsui geri – knee kick

stances
Zenkutsu dachi – forward stance
Kiba dachi – horse stance
Kokutsu dachi – long back stance
Nekoashi dachi – cat paw stance

Blocks
Gedan barai – downward block
Age uke – upper rising block
Soto uke – middle level block going from the outside
Uchi uke – middle level block going from the inside
Juji uke – x block
Morote uke – reinforced middle block

Punches
Gyaku tsuki – punch with the rear arm
Oi tsuki – punch with the lead arm
Ura tsuki – upside-down fist punch into solar plexus area
Tate tsuki – vertical fist punch into the middle of the chest
Yama tsuki -combination of ura tsuki and oi tsuki)
Kagi tsuki – hook punch
Mawashi tsuki – roundhouse punch

Strikes
Uraken uchi – backfist
Tettsui uchi – hammerfist
Haito uchi – ridge hand
Shuto uchi – knife hand
Haishu uchi – backhand slap
Empi uchi – elbow strike
